Preparing for JEE/NEET but
need a backup career option?
Want to know about options in science apart from Medical and Engineering?
Entrance exams apart from JEE and NEET?
Specialisations and majors apart from Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology?
Are you someone who dreams of becoming a scientist someday?
Yeah, science is interesting, right?
But the problem is …
… there seems to be only two careers to choose from
Engineering OR Medical
… there are only two exams everybody keeps talking about
JEE and NEET
… there is only one perspective towards science
Don’t tell us you have not heard about these streams :
Astrophysics or space science
Rings a bell?
Now, what if we told you that:
Sunita Williams, India’s second woman astronaut, received a BSc degree in Physical Science from the United States Naval Academy in 1987, and a MSc degree in Engineering Management.
Rakesh Sharma, India’s first astronaut, was an IAF commander and alumni of NDA.
You don’t need to be an engineer or doctor to work for NASA, ISRO, etc.
Dr. Salunke from the famous TV show, CID, was not an MBBS graduate
An average forensic pathologist can earn around INR 25 – 30 lacs per annum
That’s not all.
We can go on and on about all the careers in science, But that’s what this Webinar is about.
On the occasion of National Science Day and remembering Dr CV Raman on his birthday, we are conducting this Webinar on Science and 21st Century careers
When you enroll for this Webinar,
you will get to know
About all the new age career options in Science (along with their roadmaps)
About some emerging (but unheard) careers in science stream
Deep insights and perspectives on what science stream has to offer in the 21st century (besides Engineering and Medical)
What all entrance exams you can appear for except JEE and NEET (like IISER, NEST, ISI, KVPY, ICAR JEE)
“But engineering and medical professions are only well-paid. The rest don’t get much.”
WRONG! Know why !
We don’t know who started this myth, but it’s just plain wrong.
You can get into really high-paying (and satisfying) jobs through science.
There’s only one reason why people think other careers in science are not paid well….They are rarely the topic of discussions. Very few people talk about them.
And that’s why most of us don’t know how much in demand these other careers are.
“What if I am already preparing for JEE/NEET? I don’t need to appear for these other exams"
Well, that’s on you.
If you insist that you want to do engineering/medicine, then so be it.
But we also recommend having some backup careers in mind.
Because no matter how well you prepare, you can’t perfectly predict your performance on the final exam day.
If, by any chance, you don’t get into your dream IIT/NIT/AIIMS, but get a seat in other reputed colleges with the course you like, it’s still a win-win situation for you.
“Ok, but I have not yet started preparing for these exams. I am not yet sure which course to choose.”
That’s all right. This confusion is common.
It’s hard to know which exact stream you like when you only have 4 science subjects in school - PCMB.
The goal of the Webinar is to tell you exactly what streams a science lover can pursue.
What exams you need to prepare for, their difficulty levels
And all the different courses you can choose from.
We know it does.
There’s some bad news though.
This Webinar is only for a selected few.
It’s not for you if…
You don’t love studying science
You don’t want to have a career in science at all and have already chosen another stream
You have already decided to make a career in engineering or medical only and nothing else
You don’t enjoy problem-solving
You have no interest in knowing how things work
But if none of these apply to you,
then this Webinar is definitely for you.
This will be an online Webinar via Zoom.
Let us all pay a tribute to the legacy of Dr CV Raman on his birthday as we celebrate National Science Day with a valuable and interactive session.
See you on the other side.
